Long Long Time!

Ok I know its been forever! I seriously I am so sick of saying I am gonna blog I promise, But this one is for real... I will blog every week... I have so much going on in my life I want to "journal" about it.. Lately... well we went on a cruise! we seriously have the best friends ever... we went with a group of 5 couples.. and it was seriously so much fun! We love these guys like family.. they are awesome!... anyways.. also my kids are keeping me so busy! I absolutely count my blessing and thank heavenly father everyday for this wonderful blessing of being a mom. I love having two kids.. life is crazy but the best! I am completely content with two kids for now. I am in no hurry for another one. That will happen in time.. but not for a while! Anyways.. here are some updated pictures of the kids.. they are getting professional ones next week! so i will post those too... Keep blogging people i love to read them!

Halloween 2011!!

Happy Halloween!!
This year Chris and I didn't really plan on dressing up, But Chris let me decide what the kids should be.. So Maddex was Dinosaur and Addie was Minnie Mouse ha ha.. Maddex did well at Trick Or Treating.. He knocked on each door and said trick or treat and thank you. Not to mention he thought the candy was cool and counted every one each time he got a new one.

These two LOVE each other.. And i hope they always do! Addie is now sitting up by herself. I can't believe she is getting so big! SLOW DOWN ADDIE GIRL! Maddex is had so much fun pulling the "guts" from the pumpkin!



There is a few families that live in Lindon that put on a Halloween express.. seriously it is so fun! they do a christmas one too but rotate every other year! I can't believe they actually put all this effort into this.. It seriously is a hit! Maddex loved it, Chris was at work so Tyson took over with Maddex. but Maddex had so much fun!

Thriller 2011!

So we have made it a tradition in my family to go to thriller in st. george! It is so fun! My mom was kind enough to stay home with my kids while me and chris went with my siblings. We didn't get any pictures there dang it but this is before.. My little Addie girl is getting SO big!!!


So Chris has recently gotten a GREAT job. Only problem is he works graveyards, which means no hanging out with friends, or family alot. His only nights off are Sunday and Monday. Luckily his boss gave him Friday and Saturday night off so he could come down to Thriller.. Him and Tyson went golfing, they took full advantage of the nice weather. Thriller last year was cold, but this year it was the first show of the season down there and it was nice and warm!




Lastly, We found a NEW splash pad in St. George! It is so fun, it literally has everything, a lighted up tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball, huge grass area, fun playground, a walking path and more! Best thing about this is its 5 minutes away from where we stay!!! Can't wait for spring break to come so all of our friends and their little ones can come enjoy it too!

Trials

Oh trials, so bittersweet to have them. I love what you learn with a trial but the first few days i feel defeated until I change my outlook and realize I ALWAYS learn something good. I post this not because I am going through a trial but because sometimes I just need to vent. Sometimes I feel picked on and overwhelmed but I honestly wouldn't change anything in my life. I love life.. Chris has recently started graveyards. It is hopefully worth it, right now he leaves once the kids are in bed and comes home when they are still asleep. But I miss him every night he is gone! Its exhausting because I am just getting used to it. But I am SO SO grateful that he is willing to work and provide for our little family! I am so Grateful that I get to be a mom! My kids are the best around! Even though we have tantrums and meltdowns I LOVE every minute. Just to add.... I have found a new love! I LOVE COUPONING! I just started but man is it addicting I love once the kids are in bed that I get to sit down (once everything is clean) and clip and snip my coupons! Life is GOOD, I am grateful for trials, even though mine is small, I learn alot and hope it helps me become a better mom and wife. I posted this video because I love HILARY WEEKS! and its a good reminder that someone always has it worse and we can get through ANYTHING!

Big Boy!

This little (BIG) man is the best! He just turned 2!! Let me tell you I love it!... he is crazy and saying so much, sentences and all.. its crazy how fast they grow up.. i hate it! But its fun anyways, he has a big boy bed and says the craziest things. He is very animated and so helpful with his little sister!





When these two get together.... they are trouble!! I love Jaxon like he is my own.. they are two peas in a pod and i love it! I could watch them all day long, they laugh and play so hard together.. definately exhausting but i know they will be friends forever can't wait for the years to come little boys!



Most of the time they share.. but occasionally its a battle. Love you two!

We love this little girl! She is now 4 months old and she is such a great baby! We went to the dr. on thursday and this little chunky monkey is 16 lbs! She is now rolling over and talking up a storm! She eats rice cereal and is actually starting to like it. She has always slept through the night so i can't complain there! Love ya Addie Girl!

LOVING LIFE!

So, sometimes I wake up in the morning thinking, how did my life get so crazy..? waking up to screaming kids who happen to always cry at the same time.. or crazy maddex starting to scream those tantrums.. or sweet little Addie wanting to be talked to... Well guess what?! I absolutely love my life! It is crazy trying to get two kids out the door, or waking up to craziness.. or poopy diapers.. but I AM IN LOVE with it. Everyday I thank my heavenly father for the blessing of being a mom. Seriously my life right now is exhausting, working full time, and going to school plus homework and housework.. I don't know why I got myself into this but I LOVE IT! I know that some women aren't able to have kids in this life. But I know that the lord always has a plan for everyone, even if we don't like it all the time. But its there for a reason, we are supposed to learn from our everyday life.. and I do.. everyday I learn something new. Even though I am seriously going insane, I enjoy every second.. I have learned that my house doesn't have to be clean all that matters are the little things. I play hard with my kids until they go to bed.. then all of my work begins, but at least I am creating that memory with my kids and hubby.. that I will never forget!
